Our Mission and Vision for our students is…

SCcyber E-Learning Community is committed to teaching the Alberta Curriculum online to First Nations, Métis & Inuit communities providing increased equity and access to the highest quality educational opportunities for aboriginal students and, in so doing, raises the educational level of aboriginal communities. SEL models educational leadership through integrity, vision, innovation & metacognitive learning and persists in promoting community interests and seeking solutions, overcoming distance and time. SEL aims for the employment and employability of students, enhancing their sense of self worth and provides the skills and knowledge that our world demands through a unique virtual learning community.

Along the way, we have been recognized nationally and internationally for our achievements and successes with our student.

Global Best Award Winner!

SCcyber E-learning was informed that we have been selected as
the Global Best Regional Winner (The Americas) for the Global Best Awards.

The Global Best Awards celebrate outstanding and effective business, education and community organization partnerships that have a significant impact on the communities in which they operate.

Four winners are selected internationally (one from each of: the Americas, United Kingdom and Europe, Pacific and Australia, Africa and Asia) and honored at the 10th International Education Business Partnership Conference: Making a Difference in Today’s Global Economy – The Power of Partnership!!,  (Toronto, Canada).

Last year the event was in Finland and like the Oscars the four
regional winners are present at the awards and then the world winner is announced from the group of four regional finalists.

RADF : Rural Alberta Development Fund www.radf.ca 

“Rural Alberta Development Fund seeks to inspire and act as a catalyst for innovative, collaborative, sustainable, community-based projects which promote the growth, prosperity, and quality of life in rural Alberta.”

Through RADF, Sunchild E-learning was able to produce online Cree 10, 20 and 30 course materials online to share, promote and preserve the Cree language for generations to come.
