Eleanor Roosevelt

Hello Everybody!!  Welcome!  Wow, what a fun year so far.  I am looking forward to being your instructor this year, so let's get to know each other.  My name is Ms. Linda Robinson, and I have been an online teacher for over 15 years...  Yikes!! lol.  I enjoy humanities, and I look forward to connecting with you in ELA, Social, Ab Studies, or CTS courses!  Remember that you can always email me to set up a private session, and you can find me in Homework Help on the days listed in your courses.

I live in Rocky Mountain House, and I am responsible for the Community Gardens there in the summer.  It is great to watch things grow...  maybe that's why I love being a teacher too! ;-)  I love the outdoors, and you can always find me out in Mother Nature, or sitting quietly contemplating it.

I am a mom of 5 great kids, and my youngest is 16, so fun times are afoot! lol.  I am blessed to be where I am, and I truly look forward to help you to get where you want to be.  Let me know if you have any questions feel free to email me at This email address is being protected from spambots. My name is Karol Kamieniecki and I live in Manning, Alberta.

I graduated with a Bachelor of Education in Secondary Social Studies and Language Arts from the University of Alberta in 1998 and have been teaching in many different roles since then.  I have a Graduate Diploma in Distance Education Technology (2010), and a Master of Education degree specializing in Distance Learning (2014) from Athabasca University.   Being from a small, rural town, I’ve had the opportunity to teach across almost all grade levels from 1-12, as well as online.  It’s made for a very interesting career filled with many exciting challenges through the years.  I am happy to be back for another school year as Principal with Sccyber!

Outside of my school life, I help my husband as much as I can around our hobby farm, travel, garden, camp, fish, and watch our two older daughters on the local and Alberta High School Rodeo barrel racing circuit. Our younger daughter is our little chef in the family and we love cooking together.   Life's busy but good!

Hi! I'm Mavis Sacher and I LOVE the world of E-learning and all the endless possibilities it has to offer.  It is exciting to see how online learning has changed and how it will continue to help everyone learn anywhere...anytime!

I am a graduate from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Science majoring in Cellular, Molecular and Microbial Biology (what a mouth full !) and a Bachelor of Education. Thereafter, I went back for more schooling because I like to give more money to U of C to complete my Masters of Education specializing in Educational Technology in 2000.

I have taught over 20 years in the areas of science and mathematics at the Calgary Board of Education, Chinook’s Edge School Division and with the Rocky View School Division.

As the co-founder of the school, I had initially served as the Director of Technology and curriculum instruction for the SCcyber E-learning community school for first 8 years and joined full-time as the Principal back in June 2008.  Now I serve as the Superintendent of SCcyber Elearning.
